THE STUDENT PORTFOLIO
The last step in our project is to organize your own portfolio with a personal reflection about your creative process and learning. Art is a form of communication; the main goal of the portfolio is to find personal connections to your art piece; to share and learn from your own process and your peers work.
You have worked with different
points of view
You have chosen your favorite
place, and taken several photos.
You have already traced all
the contours of main features of photo with pencil.
You have learnt about Van
Gogh’s life and technique.
- Observe Van Gogh's colors. The impressionists inspired him to lighten his palette
- Use Van Gogh's strokes: thin and short
- Give movement and direction to your brush.
- Use color to give depth and perspective to your work
- Have your own folder labeled to keep your work clean and neat with the whole process. Print the photos from your project.
Write your personal reflection:
This is a guide to write about your learning process:

- Work Habits. I'm helpful distributing materials and cleaning up at the end of class.
- Attitude. What did I learn from mistakes?
- What part of the project did I enjoy the best? Why?
